Admissions: FAQs
When should we start the admission process?
Start shortlisting in February, visit campuses in March–April, and finalise by May soon after results. Waiting for results before starting means competing for leftover seats in top batches and hostels.
Is there centralised counselling for private intermediate colleges?
No — private junior colleges in Telangana admit directly through their own offices. This is why early direct enquiry matters. Government and residential institutions follow their own notified schedules and, in some cases, entrance tests.
Can we change college after first year?
Yes, transfers between colleges are possible under TSBIE rules with a TC, though top colleges may not take second-year transfers into their best batches. Choosing carefully the first time is far better than planning a switch.
